To be eligible for a team prize, you must have five or fewer people competing for your team.
To be eligible for the Overall prizes, you must have a team that consists of only Australian / New Zealand Tertiary School Student(s) and / or Australian / New Zealand Secondary School Student(s). Mixed teams of Australian / New Zealand Student(s) are eligible for this prize but not for the Top 3 Australian / New Zealand prizes.
To be eligible for the Top 3 Australia/New Zealand prizes, you must have a team that consists of only Australian / New Zealand Tertiary School Student(s) and / or Australian / New Zealand Secondary School Student(s).
To be eligible for the Top Secondary School/High School Team prize, you must have a team that consists of only Australian / New Zealand Secondary School Student(s).
To be eligible for the Top All Female Student Prize, you must have a team that consists of only female Australian / New Zealand Tertiary School Student(s) and / or female Australian / New Zealand Secondary School Student(s).
To be eligible for all the Top First Nations / Pasifika / Māori Team Prize, each member must be in any of those three groups.

* You cannot stack any of the overall team prizes with any of Australian or New Zealand team prizes.
However, you can stack any of the following prizes with an overall or Australian / New Zealand team prize:

Example: If a team of 5 high school students (from either Australia or New Zealand) wins the 1st Place Overall team prize. They will also receive the Top Secondary School / High School prize.
** These prizes can be won by anyone worldwide. A write up submission will be via a Google Form provided on the DUCTF Discord and Twitter when DUCTF 2024 finishes. A write up submission must be a publicly accessible written or video write up. The DUCTF team will decide winners.
*** These prizes can be won by anyone worldwide. To be eligible for the "Meme Prize", a DUCTF / CTF related original content meme must be posted in the DUCTF #memes Discord Channel. No targeting other DUCTF competitors with memes. Accept that the DUCTF staff may delete any uploads without notice or reason. Don't be an arsehole. The DUCTF team will decide the winner.
